First Steps

     If you wish to connect your own domain, follow these instructions.

3. Exploring Your WordPress Site:

   • Familiarize yourself with the pre-built pages and content.
   • Explore the WordPress Customizer for theme options.

4. Activating and Registering Your Plugins:
   
   Some plugins come pre-installed with your WordPress site, while others are recommended for enhanced functionality. Here's how to activate and register the essential plugins:

   1. Pre-installed plugins:

      
      a) Wordfence:
      • Navigate to the Plugins section in your WordPress dashboard.
      • Locate Wordfence and click "Activate."
      • Follow the on-screen instructions to set up and configure Wordfence for optimal security.
      b) CookieYes:
      • Find CookieYes in the Plugins section and click "Activate."

      • Follow the setup wizard to configure your cookie consent banner and settings.

   2. Recommended paid plugin (add yourself): 

      
      a) Termageddon:
      • While not pre-installed, we highly recommend Termageddon for legal policy management.
      • Purchase Termageddon from their official website.
      • Install the plugin by uploading the ZIP file or searching for it in the WordPress plugin repository.
      • Activate the plugin and enter your license key to unlock all features.
   Remember to keep all plugins updated for optimal performance and security.

Customization in WordPress

• Follow your product's specific instructions for customization. Each Kuva Media template or instant website will have its own instructions, depending on how the site was designed:

• Avoid editing theme files directly to ensure compatibility with future updates, and to ensure that custom functionality is not deleted, which could break your theme.

Updating Your WordPress Site

• WordPress core and plugin updates are managed through your hosty.me hosting.
• For any theme updates, you'll be notified within your WordPress dashboard.
• Always backup your site before making major changes.

Troubleshooting Common WordPress Issues

Layout Inconsistencies

• Refresh the page.
• Clear your browser cache.
• In Elementor, go to Tools > Regenerate CSS.
